The Wanderlust

Europe is a big and beautiful continent, with many awesome experiences just waiting to be found and explored. There are so many culturally different countries and regions in Europe, that it is hard to find the time and energy to see them all. In this post, I am going to explain the benefits of organising your own travel and some useful tips to keep you on track.

In the European Summer of 2011, I toured Europe. Unlike a lot of my friends who chose to do a commercial tour, I chose to do an independent tour of Europe. The difference was that I organised and planned my own travel route, and travelled by myself. For 6-7 weeks, I explored the ins and outs of continental Europe as well as a few of the more “far out” places Europe has to offer (but more on them later).
