Milano, The City of Fashion

Milan is a very modern city with fashionable people. In fact Milan has more fashion conscious people than even Paris. I love this city, its sights, its people and its food & wine. Walk Milan and enjoy yourself. For breakfast stop at a bar or street vendor for coffee and a pastry. Lunch can be pan inis at a bar or pizza at a trattoria. Dinner is fantastic with very expensive Restorante down to Trattorias that are reasonably priced and have great food & wine. I always order a carafe of the local wine. Its quite good and inexpensive.

Don’t miss the Opera House, Duomo (the huge cathedral in the center of the city), the Galleria mall, The fashion district and the city itself. The Duomo is a huge piazza with the cathedral, the Galleria and the Opera House near by. Duomo is huge and you can go up on the roof and see spectacular views of the city. Transportation is easy by foot, cab or great trolly cars.
